Here's a remnant of "Always With You" I rescued from an old reel of tape from the early 1980's.

To hear your voice each day,
To see you smile your way,
To know I have so close at hand,
Someone who understands.

You mean so much to me,
I want you continually,
Babe, won’t you walk with me?
And let's just let time roll by.

And the sun's gonna rise,
Every morning without a cue.
And the ocean, she knows
She’s forever blue,
I’ve one desire in my life,
Just as true,
And it’s always,
Always with you.

And when the sun goes down,
I know you’ll be around,
And should the night get cold,
You’re there for me to hold,

We can now say, ‘remember when?’
‘Cause we’ve been through the thick and thin,
And I only want to spend,
My always with you.

And the sun will rise,
Every morning. It needs no cue.
And the ocean, she knows
She’s forever blue,
I’ve one desire in my heart,
Just as true,
And it’s always,
Always with you.

I’ve one desire in this life,
Just as true,
And it’s always,
Always with you.
